This was never the case for compilations for The Sims or The Sims 2, which were issued in seperate packages for the seperate platforms and never suffered this issue. This is also the case for all compilations for The Sims 3, which have been issued as physical releases with the seperate discs for their respective games or as download bundles in Origin the game originally released the latest in the set will have their loading screen logo appear. EA have not given a full explanation as to why this has occured but a likely theory is due to each game DVD now having 32-bit versions for both PC and Mac on the same disc likely causing storage space complications. The loading screen logo will say The Sims Deluxe Edition instead of The Sims only and in The Sims 3: Deluxe it will either say The Sims 3 (without Ambitions installed) and The Sims 3: Ambitions instead of The Sims 3: Deluxe.
It includes The Sims 3 base game and the second expansion pack, Ambitions. The Sims 3: Deluxe is the first compilation of The Sims 3 games.
